Macro Infusion (Oak Wilt Priority)

Macro-Infusion Treatment is a specialized Plant Health Care method used to manage and suppress Oak Wilt, a destructive vascular disease affecting Live Oaks and Red Oaks throughout North Texas. This process involves installing infusion ports at the base of the tree and delivering a systemic fungicide directly into the vascular system, allowing for internal distribution through the xylem.

Because Oak Wilt spreads through interconnected root systems and vascular tissue, macro-infusion provides a direct treatment pathway that supports the tree’s ability to compartmentalize infection (CODIT) while reducing fungal progression. Early intervention is critical to improving the likelihood of preserving canopy density, structural integrity, and overall tree longevity.

Macro-infusion treatments are commonly combined with supportive Plant Health Care applications such as Deep Root Inoculation and Basal Drench treatments to improve soil conditions, enhance nutrient uptake, and reduce environmental stress factors that can increase susceptibility to disease.

Our science-based approach prioritizes proactive monitoring, early detection, and targeted treatment strategies designed to support long-term tree health in urban landscapes.
